AMP-100 (Aliphatic Modified Polyurea)

As the polyurea technology was introduced into the coating industry, base formulas were all aromatic chemistry.

SPI announces a unique mixture of aliphatic and aromatic chemistry now available.

AMP-100TM is a cross-linked elastomer offering an economical alternative to pure aliphatic protective coating.

It was designed and formulated as a base component of aromatic nature, but has aliphatic materials to help prolong color stability and deter chalking or fading.

AMP-100TM can be used as a stand-alone product or as a topcoat over aromatic polyurea, polyurethanes or hybrids. It can be applied in high temperature and to any thickness in a single application.

This polyurea also exhibits high tensile strength (3,243 psi) and high elongation (488%) for outstanding abrasion resistance.

AMP-100TM is 100% solids with no solvents or VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds).

It's compliant with USDA/FDA requirements for incidental food contact.

Recommended uses are:

Over Urethane foam, metal or concrete roofing
Tanks, ponds, lagoon containment lining
Walls and ceilings (meat or dairy processing plants)
Exposed signs and displays Truck beds and undercarriage liners
Water features
Deck/Waterproofing
