Durasil™ (Single Component Silicone Elastomer)

DURALSIL™ is an ambient temperature-curing silicone elastomer designed to protect construction surfaces from weather and moisture. Outstanding features of the product include its high-solid contents, rapid cure time and superior physical properties including a high tensile strength and elongation.

It has excellent adhesion to polyurethane foam, high flexibility, high-heat resistance, and adheres to most prepared construction surfaces. DURALSIL™ can be used by itself as the complete protective coating membrane or as a topcoat over a tough polyurethane elastomer basecoat for maximum life expectancy of the roof assembly.

With the addition of ceramic roofing granules embedded into DURALSIL™, superior abrasion resistance is achieved. After 8,000 hours of accelerated weathering exposure, there is no cracking or discoloration.
