Job Description: Created a 6' x 3' x 1" thick POLYSHIELD Hi-E™ (High Elongation) stamp. The stamp was pressed into a wet concrete sidewalk in the City of Valdez, Alaska for approximately 8,000 sq. ft. and covered with a concrete sealer. POLYSHIELD Hi-E™ was considered because of its availability and similarity in appearance to the original stamp material. Stamp was designed and carved by an artist especially for this job. The final sidewalk clearly displays a pattern of large fish leaping from one wave to another and is an eyecatching addition to the City of Valdez.

Follow-up Inspection: Finished product was inspected and passed all tests.

Other Coatings Evaluated for Project: Another company was contacted to make the stamp with an unknown material but failed to produce the stamp in the necessary time frame.
